Himachal Pradesh: Two killed, four injured in separate accidents in Chamba

Shimla, Jul 8 (UNI) Two people were killed and four others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Chamba district, police sources informed on Monday.

In the first incident, a car went uncontrolled on Chamba-Pathankot highway and plunged down in a deep gorge, killing one on the spot and injuring three others.

The deceased has been identified as Kashmir Singh Rana of Drogi village, working as pharmacist at Animal Husbandry center Bhalai.

In another incident, a JCB fell down near Kodal area under Bharmour police station, in which driver Vinod Kumar died on the spot while an injured was rushed to Chamba Medical college hospital.

Chamba Superintendent of Police, Dr Monika while confirming the incident said that the dead bodies were handed over to the families after post-mortem.
