Himachal Pradesh: 4 killed, 7 injured in road accident in Mandi district

Shimla/UNI: Four passengers died and seven injured last evening when a Tempo Traveler fell down a deep gorge near Dhanyara in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

Police sources said that a Tempo Traveler carrying people from a marriage party fell down in a 200-meter-deep gorge near Dhanyara.

"Four people died on the spot, while seven others were rushed to Kotli Civil Hospital, and the critically injured were referred to Mandi District Hospital," police added.

Police would hand over the bodies of the deceased this morning after the postmortem. The cause of the accident is being ascertained.
