High alert after lawmaker's car rams Parliament barricade

New Delhi, Feb 12 (IBNS) :Security was put on high alert after the car of a lawmaker rammed into a barricade in Parliament premises on Tuesday, media reports said.

There was none in the car except the driver.

The car belongs to Congress MP from Manipur, Thokchom Meiny. 

The Parliament security personnel are investigating the cause of the incident, details of which are awaited.
