Hema Malini rejects allegation of 'land grabbing' for her dance school in Mumbai's Oshiwara

Mumbai, Feb 1 (IBNS): At a press meet on Monday at her residence, popular actress and BJP MP Hema Malini rejected the 'land grabbing' allegation made by an RTI activist and said that she has not been handed over the land yet on which she wants to build her dance academy.
She has been given a land in Mumbai's Oshiwara region for a dance school at a rate much lower than the on-going market price, claims RTI activist Anil Galgali.

She reportedly got the land for Rs 70,000 when the market value is Rs 40 crore.

At the press conference, Hema Malini said, "The land has not been handed over to me yet. I don't even know how much I have to pay. I'll pay according to law."

She also said that her dance school 'will be the pride of the area' and it will be an institute for the society, the children and not for her personal use.
