GRP man shot dead in running train in Bihar

Buxar, May 14 (IBNS) A Government Railway Police jawan was shot dead and another injured by assailants who snatched their in a running train between Varanasi and Buxar Friday night, reports said.

Four assailants fired shots at them in the passenger train soon after it left Chausa,  killing Abhisek Singh on the spot and seriously injuring his colleague Nand Lal Yadav.

The assailants snatched away two  INSAS rifles and catridges  from them. 

They jumped off the train when it slowed down and fled away.

Police said an investigation into the incident is going on.
