New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS) With the name of TV evangelist Zakir Naik emerging as allegedly influencing several militants, including two terrorists, who were among those attacking a Dhaka cafe, the Indian government is preparing ground to take action against him, reports said.

Minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times:"As a minister, I cannot comment as to what kind of action will be taken under the law."

He said the Indian government has not received any reference from Dhaka on the TV evangelist.

According to reports, two of the Dhaka cafe attackers-Nabris Islam and Rohan Imtiaz- were reportedly inspired by Naik.

The attack on Dhaka cafe on Friday left 20 people killed.
