Google doodle celebrates LS polls counting day

New York, May 16 (IBNS): Popular search engine Google on Friday decorated its homepage with a doodle celebrating the occasion of counting of votes in the Lok Sabha polls in India which will decide the formation of the new government in the world's largest democracy.

Netizens could see the 'Google' text in the homepage of the website has been modified. The alphabet 'L'in the word 'Google' has been changed into a voters fist and a finger has been shown in it.

The finger has an ink mark in it which represents the right of every adult person in the nation to cast his vote and elect their leaders.

From Charlie Chaplin to Marie Curie, Google doodles not only celebrate birth anniversaries of great personalities, they also make users know about important dates through designs and animations.
