Gauhati University postpones PG and Integrated M. Com examination after students' protest

Guwahati/IBNS The Gauhati University has postponed the Post Graduate and Integrated M. Com examination following massive protests by the students of the university.

A notice issued by the Controller of Examination of Gauhati University on Friday stated: “It is notified for information of all concerned that the scheduled P.G. & Int. M.Com examinations have been postponed. The rescheduled programme will be published later on. This is issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, G.U. dated 28.01.2022.”

The examination was earlier scheduled to be held from Jan 29.

The students of the university on Friday staged a sit-in-protest inside the university campus expressing unhappiness regarding conducting of offline examination amid the current COVID-19 situation.
