At least four Indian soldiers were killed and three others injured after a group of terrorists ambushed two Indian Army vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Friday.

The terrorists started to fire when two army vehicles were passing through Dera Ki Gali region in Rajouri.

According to reports, the encounter is still going on.

“An operation was being conducted in general area DKG since the night of Wednesday. At approximately 3:45pm on Thursday, two army vehicles carrying troops to the operational site were fired upon by the terrorists," defence spokesperson Lt Col Suneel Bartwal told Hindustan Times.
