Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, his wife test Covid-19 positive

Kolkata/IBNS: Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and his wife, Mira Bhattacharya, tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday late evening, reports said.

According to reports, the senior CPI-M leader is undergoing treatment in home isolation while his wife has been admitted to a private health facility in south Kolkata on Tuesday night after she complained of breathlessness.

Sources in the party said that Buddhadeb Bhattacharya is in stable condition and there is no deterioration in his oxygen saturation level as of now.
