New Delhi/IBNS: Pekka Haavisto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, will pay an official visit to India from Nov 4-7, officials said.

He will be accompanied by a high level Business Delegation, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

During the visit, Pekka Haavisto will hold bilateral talks with External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar on 06 November, 2019.

The two Ministers had earlier met in Helsinki in September this year.

FM Haavisto will also meet the Finance Minister to discuss issues of mutual interest.

He will visit Tamil Nadu for inauguration of the KONE manufacturing unit.

The present visit would provide the two sides another opportunity to explore new areas of cooperation to further strengthen India-Finland relationship.
