Flying squad seized 4.5 crore in Tamil Nadu
Madurai, Mar 22 (UNI) Flying Squads and Static Surveillance Teams monitoring the enforcement of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for parliamentary elections have seized cash Rs 4.50 crore here on Friday.
According to the Police sources, during the regular check up at Yanaikkal bridge, they have seized the cash from a car coming from Trichy to Madurai.
The accused have brought the cash without proper documents.
District collector Natarajan ordered an inqury in this regard, the sources added.
