Five Indian soldiers wounded as Pakistan violates ceasefire in J&K border

Poonch, Apr 3 (IBNS): Five Indian soldiers, including an officer, were injured in cross-border firing after Pakistan violated ceasefire in the Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar area in Poonch district of Jammu region on Tuesday morning.

 

Defence sources has confirmed that five armymen have been injured in the cross-border shelling and firing.

Sources said the injured soldiers have been airlifted to a military hospital  in Udhampur for advanced treatment.

An army officer said an exchange of fire has been going on after the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire at around 7:30 am.
