Fire rages for more than 16 hours at Bengaluru dumpyard

Bengaluru, Apr 28 (IBNS) A major fire broke out at one of the garbage dumpyards at Doddaballapur under Bengaluru rural district on Wednesday, reports said.

Even after 16 hours the fire is still raging and ten fire engines are battling to contain the blaze.

There are no reports of injuries so far and the cause of fire is also unknown.

Hundreds of tonnes of garbage generated in the I-T city is dumped in the ten-acre  Doddaballapur dumpyard every day.
