Fire breaks out in ticket counter at Mumbai Mira Road station

Mumbai, Jul 3 (IBNS): A fire broke out at reservation counter of Mira road station of Western line on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to reports, firefighting teams arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control.

No injuries have been reported so far.

The fire in the morning peak hours created a chaos in the station as the platform was overcrowded.

The details of the incident are awaited.

Trains were running up to Borivli since morning following the collapse of a portion of a bridge at Andheri railway station following heavy rains.
