Fire breaks out at rubber factory in Delhi's Jhilmil, 3 dead

New Delhi, Jul 13 (UNI) Three people were killed in a fire that broke out at a rubber and plastic factory in Jhilmil industrial area here on Saturday morning, a fire official said.

'A call was received at 0925 hrs that a fire had broken out in Jhilmil industrial area near M S park and more than 30 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames,' the fire official said.

'Three bodies were recovered from the factory and sent to the hospital,' he said.

The cause of the fire is yet unknown, he said, adding that the police investigation is going on.

Rescue operations are still underway.
