New Delhi, Sept 5 (IBNS): Thousands of farmers and workers have reached the national capital from various states to hold a rally in New Delhi on Wednesday, media reports said.

The farmers and workers will march from Parliament Street to Jantar Mantar with the demands of effective implementation of labour laws, minimum wage, more employment and recognition of one crore Anganwadi and ASHA workers as a workforce, The Indian Express reported.

All the people who will march are camped at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital.

The outfits, which will carry out the rally, are affiliated to CPI-M, Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) and All India Agriculture Workers Union (AIAWU).

Farmers, who had marched in Maharashtra in March this year over the demands of loan waiver and minimum support price, will also be present at the gathering in New Delhi on Wednesday.
