Ex-Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah turns 47, politicians wish him

Srinagar, Mar 10 (IBNS): Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah turned 47 on Saturday.

Several top political leaders of the nation, including Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee,wished him on the special day.

Banerjee wished Omar to have long and healthy life ahead.

" Birthday greetings to @OmarAbdullah. Wish you a long and healthy life," Banerjee tweeted.

Gandhi also wished the former CM of Jammu and Kashmir and said: " Best wishes to my friend Omar Abdullah on his birthday and many congratulations to him on completing two decades as an elected representative. @OmarAbdullah."

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said: "Best wishes to @OmarAbdullah on his birthday today."

Omar Abdullah is currently serving as the Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir legislative Assembly.

He is also a member of the Legislative Assembly from Beerwah constituency of Budgam district.
