ED files second charge-sheet against Misa Bharti on a day father Lalu Prasad awaits court's pronouncement on punishment

New Delhi, Jan 6 (IBNS): The Enforcement Directorate (ED), on Saturday, filed a second charge-sheet in a money laundering case against Misa Bharti, daughter of former Bihar cheif minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad  according to media reports.

The first charge-sheet was filed on Dec 23 under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against Misa Bharti & Others in Jain Brothers entry operators case, in the court of Special Judge N K Malhotra.

In September, ED had attached a Delhi farmhouse located at 26, Palam Farms in south Delhi’s Bijwasan area, in connection with the same probe.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, father Lalu Prasad is awaiting the Ranchi Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court's pronouncement of the quantum punishment in the fodder scam case, media reported.
