New Delhi/IBNS: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday filed its first charge sheet in a Delhi court in connection with its ongoing probe into a Bengal-based illegal coal mining and smuggling racket, officials said.

According to sources in the ED, the Central economic probe agency in the charge sheet has named Trinamool Congress (TMC)'s youth wing leader Binay Mishra's brother, Bikash Mishra, and West Bengal police officer Ashok Mishra.

Bikash Mishra and Ashok Mishra have already been arrested by the ED and they are in judicial custody while prime accused in the case, Binay Mishra, fled the country since the racket was unearthed.

Meanwhile, the agency has also sought permission from the court to take the investigation forward.

Besides ED, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also probing the case.
