ED files charge-sheet against Lalu Prasad's daughter Misa Bharti and others under PMLA

New Delhi, Dec 23 (IBNS): While former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad awaits the CBI court verdict on his alleged involvement in the fodder scam case, in a separate case on Saturday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a charge-sheet against his daughter Misa Bharti and son-in-law Sailesh Kumar, according to media reports.

The chargesheet was filed under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against Misa Bharti & Others in Jain Brothers entry operators case, in the court of Special Judge N K Malhotra.

In September, ED had attached a Delhi farmhouse located at 26, Palam Farms in south Delhi’s Bijwasan area, in connection with the same probe.
