Dust storm hits New Delhi, disrupts normal life

New Delhi, June 9 (IBNS): A dust storm hit New Delhi on Saturday, disrupting normal life in the national capital.

The storm was followed by heavy rain.

Due to weather condition, 18 flights have been reportedly diverted from Delhi.


Rain was also reported from Haryana and Gurugram.

 

Rainfall scenario in Mumbai:

Apart from Delhi, Mumbai was also lashed by heavy rains.

Heavy rains left some areas in Mumbai waterlogged.

Even, railway and flight movements in the city were badly hit due to weather condition.

So far, 20 domestic flights have been cancelled to and from Mumbai. Some international flights are also delayed.

According to reports, local trains are running late.

The Mumbai Police have directed people to drive safely.
