DU professor arrested for Naxal links
New Delhi, May 10 (IBNS) The anti-Naxal squad of Maharashtra Police on Saturday said they have arrested a Delhi University (DU) professor for allegedly working for banned Naxal organisations.
Differently-abled professor G Saibaba was arrested in the national capital under anti-terror charges after the police found he was in contact with top CPI (Maoist) leaders, including its chief Ganpathy via couriers.
Earlier, the Gadchiroli Police had quizzed him on his links with the Naxals in September 2013 and January this year.
