Driver dies after truck carrying debris falls over his car in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 18 (IBNS):A speeding truck carrying debris fell on a car in Mira-Bhayander on Ghodbunder road near Mumbai and left the driver dead, reports said on Friday

.The driver of the car died on spot, reports said.

He was identified as Sumit Patil.

According to reports, he was on his way to Thane in his car when the mishap occurred.

The driver escaped from the spot leaving behind the truck, a police official from Kashi-Mira police station told Mid-Day.

Except, Patil no one was present inside the car when the mishap took place.

The truck driver escaped from the spot immediately after the incident.

He was caught later.

The driver was caught by the police in the late evening senior inspector Shingare from Kashi-Mira police station told Mid-Day.
