Diwali celebration begins with ‘Takht Snan’ at Sachkhand Shri Huzur Sahib Gurudwara in Nanded

Nanded/UNI: The celebration of Diwali festival began at the historical Takht Sachkhand Shri Huzur Sahib Gurudwara with ‘Takht Snan’ (holy bath to the Gurudwara) early on Saturday morning.

Under the guidance of Sant Baba Kulwant Singhji, devotees fetched water from the Godavari river at Nagina Ghat and cleaned the entire Gurudwara as well as old historical weapons.

To mark the Guru-da-gaddi celebration, various programmes like Mahalla Hallbole, kirtan and other cultural programmes have been organised over next four days.

Thousands of devotees from all over the nation have thronged here to witness the celebrations.
