Dirty and perverted mind: Supreme Court raps Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps over 'sex with parents' remark

New Delhi/IBNS: The Supreme Court on Tuesday called popular YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia "dirty" and "perverted" by mind rapping him over his controversial "sex with parents" remark on Samay Raina's comedy show, India's Got Latent.

A Supreme Court bench of Justices Surya Kant and N Kotiswar Singh has also granted an interim protection to Ranveer from arrest on the basis of the First Information Reports (FIRs) lodged in Guwahati, Mumbai and Jaipur.

But prior to the interim protection, the top court came down heavily upon Ranveer, who was present on India's Got Latent as a guest panelist.

Justice Kant said as quoted by Live Law, "There is something very dirty in his mind, which has been vomited by him in the program...He is insulting parents also. Why should the Courts favour him?"

"The words which you have used, parents will feel shamed. Sisters and daughters will feel ashamed. Entire society will feel shamed. It shows a perverted mind," he added slamming the remark passed by the 31-year-old podcaster, who received the Disrupter of the Year Award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2024.

Ranveer, who hosted several heavyweights including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, global actress Priyanka Chopra, cricket giant Sourav Ganguly on his show, has been asked to surrender his passport to Thane Police Station and he has been barred from leaving the country without the court's nod.

Ranveer has also been asked to be away from show business for now by the court.

What is the controversy about?

During the latest episode of Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent, Ranveer asked a contestant about the size of his p***s and then asked him to suck his d**k.

Ranveer was heard saying in a viral video, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?"

Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, comedian Samay Raina and content creator Ashish Chanchlani, who were the co-panelists, were flabbergasted while they were laughing.

The remark has not only irked the social media users with several of them being his followers, an official complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission against the podcaster.
