Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy on Sunday announced the commencement of flight services between Hyderabad and Ayodhya starting from April 2.

In a statement on Sunday, Reddy expressed that on February 26, he had penned a letter to Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, urging the initiation of a direct flight between Hyderabad and Ayodhya for the convenience of passengers travelling for Sri Ramachandra Swamy's darshan.

Promptly responding to the request, authorities engaged with commercial airlines to facilitate flights between the two cities.

Reddy conveyed his delight in informing that direct flight services will be operational between Hyderabad and Ayodhya, with flights scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, three days a week, starting from April 2.
