Devendra Fadnavis refutes Nawab Malik's accusation of drug links

| @indiablooms | Nov 01, 2021, at 08:49 pm

Mumbai/UNI: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has refuted NCP spokesperson and state Minority Development Minister Nawab Malik's allegations connecting the senior BJP leader and his wife to an alleged drug peddler.

Fandavis hit back saying that after Diwali he will expose Malik’s link to the underworld and he will give proof to the media, as well as send all evidence to NCP supremo Sharad Pawar.

Speaking to the media here, Fandavis said, "The photographs are four-years old, during that time the River Anthem song shooting creative team had taken several photographs even with me and my wife".

Malik earlier in the day shared Fadnavis and his wife's separate photographs with Jaydeep Rana, who he said was the Finance Head of the song sung by Amruta Fadnavis (Mumbai River Anthem).

The Nationalist Congress Party leader also named one Neeraj Gunde, who he said is associated with Fadnavis and has been often seen at the Narcotics Control Bureau office here.

Talking about Gunde, the BJP leader said that before levelling allegations, Malik should have discussed the issue with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Fadnavis said Niraj Gunde does not have any criminal case.
