Demonetisation: Modi leading India to anarchy, says Digvijaya Singh

| | Nov 17, 2016, at 03:59 pm
New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS): Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his move to demonetise 500 and 1000 Indian Rupee notes in order to curb black money, Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh said that the former's attitude is driving India to anarchy and chaos.

Singh vented out against the PM on Twitter joining the growing number of opposition leaders like Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee and others taking it out on Modi.

"Modi must at least realise this now otherwise his Arrogance Megalomania and Narcissism is leading India to Anarchy and Chaos," he said.

The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister added that the decision was taken in haste without any preparation.

"I had warned on 9th November that Modi has taken the decision in haste without any preparation and would result in Economic Chaos," he said.

Taking another swipe at Modi, he said that it's one thing to run a state and another to run a country.

"Pl see my tweets on demonetisation of 8/11 & 9/11. It is one thing to run a State in a manner which Modi did but quite another to run India," he said.
