New Delhi, Mar 14 (IBNS) : A 26-year-old woman jumped from the balcony of the first floor of a east Delhi house to escape five men, who had allegedly raped her, and lumbered on the streets naked for hours begging for help, which people ignored, reports said.

The woman, a mother of two, was finally rescued by an auto rickshaw  driver, who took her to a police station, where she could lodge a complaint.

According to reports, all the five accused- Lakshay Bhalla, Vikas Kumar, Naveen, Swarit and Prateek - have been arrested. Except Swarit, who is an engineer, the rest are call centre employees.

Police said the woman underwent medical examinations in hospital, which corroborates her claim of being gang-raped.

The incident occurred on Saturday when the woman, who lives separated from her husband in  south Delhi, was picked up by Vikas, who she knew for sometime, for a party, but was taken  to a flat in east Delhi's Pandav Nagar area.

On the way, Vikas' two friends got into the car.

The accused, allegedly forced the woman  to consume alcohol, then locked her  in the flat and took turns to rape her till the early hours on Sunday.
