Delhi to host DEFCOM next month

New Delhi, Oct 25 (IBNS) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with the Indian Army, is organising the 2014 edition of the Defence Communication Seminar (DEFCOM 2014) on Nov 17-18 at Manekshaw Centre here.

DEFCOM presents a platform for all the participants to understand each others capabilities and needs, synergise their efforts and emerge with a pragmatic way forward.

This year's seminar themed “Adapting Commercial Technologies for Unifying ICTEC in Battle Space,” was spearheaded by Lt Gen Nitin Kohli,  Signal Officer-in-Chief and his team and is planned over five sessions spread over two days.

Participation from Indian Industry, Academia, luminaries from R & D Organisations and Defence Services is expected.

A brochure conveying the theme and schedule of events for DEFCOM 2014 was released on Oct 22 at a brief ceremony at India Habitat Centre here.
