The arrested person has been identified as Ariz Khan, allegedly one of the bomb makers of the terror outfit.

He has been  on the run since the 2008 Batla House encounter.

DCP Special Cell, Pramod Singh was quoted as saying by News18, “He was one of the main conspirators of Indian Mujahideen and there were plans of reviving the organisation along with SIMI.”

Police sources told the news channel Ariz Khan alias Junaid was arrested from Nepal.

Pramod Singh told mediapersons that  Khan was  involved in many bombing incidents including the 2008 Delhi serial blasts.
