Delhi: Kejriwal promises 800,000 jobs to youths

New Delhi, Nov 15 (IBNS): The AAm Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday launched its campaign for the upcoming Assembly polls in the national capital and promised of creating 8 lakh jobs and train 10 lakh youth in the next five years.

AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, who had served the national capital as itsw Chief Minister for 49 days,   also promised to make the national capital a a free Wi-Fi zone.

Kejriwal addressed his supporters at the  Jantar Mantar here.

Speaking on the issue of providing wi-fi, he said: "We are working on the details on having the wi-fi across the city."

He also tweeted: "Big announcements made by AAP for youth today on education, sports, jobs, wi fi and drugs."

He said: "Many youth come to me for jobs. I want our youth to become job providers and not job seekers."

"AAP govt will provide skill, finance and place to our youth, encourage them to start their own business abd become job providers," Kejriwal said.

AAP on Thursday released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls in Delhi.

Kejriwal had served as the Chief Minister of the national capital for that period before resigning from his post.

Kejriwal's name is not present in the first list.
