Delhi HC asks the Centre, WB govt to file responses in Mukul Roy phone tapping case

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IBNS): The Delhi High Court, on Monday, directed the Centre  and the West Bengal government to file their responses with regard to the complaint filed by Mukul Roy, former TMC leader who has recently joined the BJP, regarding the tapping of his phone lines, according to media reports.

The Delhi HC has asked the Centre and the West Bengal government to file their responses by two weeks and fixed Dec 7 as the next hearing date.

The court has also asked MTNL and Vodafone to file affidavits stating if Roy is being monitored or his calls are being intercepted, according to media reports.

All parties have to submit their responses in sealed envelopes to the court.
