New Delhi/IBNS: A Delhi court on Wednesday sent former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the INX Media money laundering case.

The case is being probed by the Enforcement Directorate.

After the Delhi court order, the Congress leader will once again return to Tihar jail in the national capital.

P Chidambaram has also been allowed access to home-cooked food in Tihar jail. The court directed Tihar authorities to provide Chidambaram medicines, western toilet, security and separate cell, reported India Today.

Chidambaram was arrested by the CBI on Aug 21 for allegedly committing corruption by facilitating a huge flow of foreign funds to INX media when he was the Finance Minister.

The CBI has also laid allegations on Chidambaram’s son Karti for receiving huge kickbacks for facilitating the deal.
