Srinagar/IBNS: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Muhammad Aijaz Asad Wednesday visited Gangbugh, a low lying area in Tehsil South, and took appraisal of developmental issues raised by local delegation regarding work undertaken for the  dewatering station.

The visit was a part of the Srinagar administration’s public outreach initiative aimed at addressing the developmental concerns of the public in Gangbugh.

Asad witnessed several grievances of the area, while noting the people's demand for inclusion in the planning process.

While interacting with the local people on the occasion, the DC assured them that all their genuine concerns raised shall be addressed at the earliest.

He reassured the affected house owners that adequate compensation will be provided to them against the damages caused to their houses.

DC Srinagar also issued directions to the concerned executing agencies to carry out works taken up for the dewatering station  and directed concerned departments to complete formalities and resume work on the project.
