Dacoits attack Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Express in Bihar

Patna, Apr 9 (IBNS): The Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Express was attacked by dacoits in the wee hours of Sunday morning near Buxur in Bihar which left three coaches of the premium train looted.

The incident occurred around 3:15 am on Sunday, media reports said.

One inspector and four constables have been reportedly suspended for negligence of duty.

At least four passengers have lodged complaints with the railway police that their suitcases were looted by three men.

In fact, the passengers also complained that they were thrashed by the dacoits.

Following the dacoity, Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu tweeted: "Directed DG RPF to take up with DG POLICE Bihar,take serious action on Dacoits who attack passengers on trains,law&order very imp issue."

"Directed Chairman Rail Board take up with Chief Secy Bihar,Dacoits who attack passengers on trains,law&order very imp issue, states must act," he posted.
