Crude bomb hurled near Meenakshi temple

Madurai, Jan 6 (IBNS): A crude bomb was hurled by unidentified men close to the East Tower of Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple on Tuesday, reports said on Wednesday.

Several people were reportedly present in the Central Market Lane  when the bomb was hurled there.

No one was hurt.

Police rushed to the venue and inspected the spot.
