Crime: Woman hacked to death in Bokaro

Bokaro, Jul 19 (UNI) A woman was hacked to death by a sharp weapon in Kewat Tola under Mahuatand Police Station area of this district.

Police today said the deceased has been identified as Lalita Devi (50). Police said the woman has wound marks on head and hand. Her daughter-in-law was present when the incident took place late last night.

When asked, the daughter-in-law feigned ignorance on how she was killed but other relatives have alleged that as the woman was having an extra marital affair and it was objected by her mother-in- law, therefore she got her murdered.

Police later sent the body for postmortem.
