Contraband drugs worth Rs 60 lakh seized in Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati/IBNS: Security forces in a joint operation with police tracked a smuggler and seized a huge consignment of Brown Sugar in Arunachal Pradesh’s Longding district.

Based on a specific input, security forces in a joint operation with state police seized a huge consignment of Brown Sugar weighing 304 grams which is anticipated to be worth Rs 60 lakh near Bonia village in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Security personnel had also apprehended a woman smuggler.

The apprehended lady smuggler along with recovered items were handed over to Pongchau Police Station, Longding for further investigation.
