Raipur, Dec 16 (IBNS): With the crucial job done in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the Congress party is all set to announce the name of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister on Sunday.

This comes a day after Congress President Rahul Gandhi met all the four top contenders for the chief ministerial post of Chhattisgarh.

On Saturday, Rahul tweeted a photograph with all of the four contenders-Bhupesh Baghel, TS Singh Deo, Tamradhwaj Singh and Charandas Mahant.

The CM's name will be announced at the legislative party meeting around 12:30 pm on Sunday.

With the whopping victory of the party in the assembly election, the Congress ended the BJP's 15-year rule in Chhattisgarh. The Congress won 68 of the 90 seats.

The Congress has already announced that Ashok Gehlot would be the chief minister of Rajasthan while Kamal Nath will take charge in Madhya Pradesh.
