New Delhi, July 12 (IBNS): Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress on Tuesday posted a picture of party vice president Rahul Gandhi assuring farmers of protection from Modi and RSS.

"I am here to protect India from the RSS. I am here to protect India from Narendra Modi," the tweet read.

The opposition party also took potshots at the PM for his Africa visit, making fun about his activities.

A tweet posted by the party on Monday said, "Madya Pradesh [Madhya Pradesh] is drowning & Modi ji is busy playing the drums."

"Corportates [sic] are more important than common man for Modi Govt.," a second tweet read.
