Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar to join BJP

Mumbai, Mar 13 (UNI) The Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar is in the midst of switching political sides as he is eulogizing the Chief Minister Devendar Fadnavis for accepting his proposals of developmental works and completing the same.

The legislator from the Wadala-Naigaon constituency, Kolambkar asserted "After Devendra Fadnavis took over as Chief Minister,I told him about the work needed to be done in my area and he completed those works."

As a gratitude gesture,the MLA has put a portrait of the CM outside his office where Congress signboard used to hang earlier.

Kolambkar said that the reason for aligning with the BJP is that during his ten-year association with the Congress, the party hindered a lot of developmental work in his constituency.

The MLA's defection has come soon after the Sujay Patil,the Leader of Opposition in the state assembly,shook hands with the BJP.
