Congress didn't learn from its mistakes: Narendra Modi in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Sept 25 (IBNS): Attacking the Congress in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the principal opposition party didn't learn from its mistakes even after losing multiple polls across in the nation.

"Why such an old party has not learned from the mistakes after losing so many polls," Modi said while addressing the rally in Bhopal.

He said people of Madhya Pradesh should now punish the Congress party during the upcoming Assembly polls in the state.

"Congress has misused their powers in the past 10 years. Now, you have the chance of taking revenge," he said.

Modi said: "Congress never ever thought about welfare of Madhya Pradesh. Only if they would have thought, when they were in power for such a long time at Centre, they would have added to the state's progress. Sadly, they only believe in vote-bank politics."

He said the BJP works for the betterment of people and thinks about their welfare.

"Our mantra is 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. For us the 125 crore Indians are our family, for us, it is always nation first," he said.

Modi said the Congress party has become a burden today.

"The 125 old party is left with nothing today. They are a burden. It is necessary to protect the nation from them," he said.

"Congress is only busy doing dirty politics today," he said.
