CMs from Delhi and Punjab arrive to participate in BRS public meeting

Hyderabad: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening to participate in the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Party’s inaugural Public Meeting to be held at Khammam on Wednesday.

On their arrival at the Begumpet airport here, the both CMs were welcomed by Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali.

Kerala Chief Pinarayi Vijayan, former CM of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party’s President Akhilesh Yadav and CPI Secretary D Raja and other dignitaries will also grace the occasion.

Before proceeding to Khammam, about 200 kms from here tomorrow, BRS Supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) along with other state CMs and visiting leaders would offer prayers at the Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri near Hyderabad which has been renovated with a budget of Rs 1800 crores.

The meeting assumes political significance as it is the first public meeting after transformation of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to BRS National party which is drawing huge attention and response from all corners of the country, as an alternative political force under the leadership of party Supremo KCR.

As expected to participate above 5 lakhs people in the Khammam public meeting, the BRS party inaugural meeting going to create a history in Indian politics as an emerging alternative political force in India, according to party leaders.
