CM vigilance arrests Assam health department official

Guwahati, July 19 (IBNS): The sleuths of Chief Minister vigilance have arrested an official of Assam health department in Guwahati on Wednesday, officials said.

According to the reports, a team of CM vigilance launched operation at the directorate of health and services in Guwahati and arrested the official named Kishore Deka.

A top official of CM vigilance said the official, who presently served in Morigaon, had allegedly appointed several appointments in the department.

Fake appointment scam in the state health department was unearthed after CM vigilance had arrested several employees of the department from Jorhat this year.
