Civilians killed in Kashmir mine blast

Jammu, Apr 4 (IBNS) Three civilians were killed and one was injured on Saturday in a blast at a forest area near the line of control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

 According to police, three civilian labourers - Ramni,  Moni and  Vijay Kumar - were fatally wounded when the explosive device went off near Saryam village, Nowshara, in Rajouri district on Saturday morning.

 The area is densely forested and close to the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu region.

 The accident happened when the individuals by mistake lifted an unexploded old vintage mine. Further details are being ascertained and injured has been rushed to the nearest hospital.
