Centre serves eviction notice to Congress to vacate its Delhi headquarter

New Delhi, Feb 19 (IBNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led-Central Government on Thursday served an eviction notice to Indian National Congress to vacate its national headquarter in New Delhi.
A notice was served to the Congress party to vacate its office at 24, Akbar Road on January 22.
 
The office has served as Congress's national headquarter for decades.
 
The party's lease had expired in 2013 and it is currently already on an extension.
