Calcutta Sports Journalists' Club member Pradip Ghosh dies

Kolkata, July 23 (IBNS): Editor of “Khabarer Kheladhula”, a city based popular sports fortnightly, Pradip Ghosh died here last night at a  south Kolkata  hospital

He was 70  and survived by  a daughter and  a son.  

Pradip  was ailing for some time with kidney problem and breathed his last when he was taken to the hospital for his routine dialysis Sunday night.

Pradip was actively associated as a sports organiser and also as a journalist while pursuing his vocation with Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Beside being a member of Calcutta Sports Journalists’ Club, Pradip also acted as Treasurer of  of city based AryanS Club and was associated with many other organisations.

He will be always be remembered for his association with football and for his deep knowledge about the happenings in different sports disciplines.

Calcutta Sports Journalists’ Club ( CSJC) has mourned the passing away of  Pradip Ghosh .

In a message of condolence CSJC  said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with his bereaved family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.”
