By-election to 44 local body wards in 13 districts in Kerala on Jun 27

Thiruvananthapuram, May 31 (UNI) Bypoll to 44 local body wards in 13 districts in Kerala will be held on June 27.

According to a notification issued by State Election Commission here, the bypoll to 33 Local body wards will be held in Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kannur.

Along with it, byelection to a total of 11 block panchayat and corporation wards in Kottayam, Idukki, Alappuzha, Kozhikode, Malappuram and Thrissur will also be held on June 27.

The model of conduct for the bypoll came into effect from May 25.

The last date for submitting of nominations is June 7.

The scrutiny will be held on June 10. The last day for withdrawal of nomination is slated on June 12.

The voting will begin from 0700 hrs and end at 1700 hrs on June 27. The result will be declared on June 28.
